District & Council Program Planning
It is the vision of the Last Frontier Council to provide every youth member a safe, meaningful, fun activity. Conducting an activity in the Boy Scouts of America represents a partnership between a committee of volunteers and the policies and procedures of the Boy Scouts of America.
Thank you for bringing the vision to life
If you are planning to lead a district or council program, please review the resources on this page. The Program Management Guidebook is for planning and executing district and council activities, camps, and training courses. It covers basic planning timelines, budgeting, registration, and accounting concepts. In addition to this guide, program planners must consult other BSA documents such as the National Camp Standards, Training Syllabus, Activity Guidebooks, Camporee Guide, and the Guide to Safe Scouting.
