Leave No Trace (LNT) Trainer Course
Participants in this 16-hour Leave No Trace Trainer Course receive introductory training in Leave No Trace skills and outdoor ethics. You'll learn about Leave No Trace, TREAD Lightly!, and Land Ethics — including teaching techniques for planning and conducting overnight camping or day trips that minimize impact on the environment.
This course is a formal "Leave No Trace Trainer" course under the guidelines of the BSA and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Successful completion entitles the participant to recognition as a certified Leave No Trace Trainer.
Teach LNT 101
Lead introductory Leave No Trace awareness sessions and workshops for youth and adults.
Guide Groups
Conduct group awareness sessions that promote environmental stewardship and outdoor ethics.
Support Scouts
Help Scouts earn their Outdoor Ethics awards and develop lasting environmental awareness.
