By giving to the Last Frontier Council BSA, you are directly supporting your local Scouting programs — programs that teach leadership skills, provide countless hours of community service, and teach youth the values of trustworthiness and teamwork. The Last Frontier Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
There are many, many ways to support Scouting in our area. Friends of Scouting
Supporting Quality Programs
Boy Scout councils across the nation conduct an annual direct donation campaign called "Friends of Scouting" to generate necessary funding.
Friends of Scouting (FOS) enables our organization to deliver the highest quality programs possible and helps extend the Scouting program in underserved areas. Approximately 50% of the Last Frontier Council's revenue is attained through the direct support from the communities and families we serve! Without everyone's Friends of Scouting support, most youth would not be able to afford a quality Scouting experience.
Special Events
Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner
The annual presentation of this award is a major fundraiser to support Scouting. The E.C. Joullian Distinguished Citizen Award is named for two men who were champions of Scouting and well-known philanthropists. Edward C. Joullian II served as president of the Last Frontier Council from 1953 to 1954. His son, Edward C. Joullian III, served as president of the Boy Scouts of America from 1982 to 1984 and was awarded the Bronze Wolf for exceptional services to world Scouting.

This annual tradition of sportsmanship and philanthropy benefits the Scouting program in Central and Southwestern Oklahoma.

Gathering of Eagles
The Gathering of Eagles Council Recognition Banquet is an annual event recognizes outstanding service of volunteers and youth. All Scouts who earned the rank of Eagle each year are invited to attend with a guest free of charge. These Scouts receive several commemorative items and certificates when attending the dinner.
Along with Eagle Scouts, the council honors the recipients of the Eagle Scout Project of the Year, Silver Beaver Award, NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, and Venturing Summit Awards.
