Last Frontier Council Camps - Winterizing Schedule

As we are approaching the colder time of year the LFC Program and Ranger Staff have started the process to winterize each of the camp properties to prevent damage to property from winter storms and chilly temperatures.

Here is the Winterizing Schedule: (May be earlier if weather get below freezing)

George Thomas:     Week of Nov 16th

Kerr:                         Week of Nov 16th

John Nichols:         Week of Nov 16th

Will Rogers:            Week of Nov 16th

Williams:                 Week of Nov 9th

These Camps will stay winterized until March 15, 2027. (depending on weather)

What does this mean? Plan Ahead - Be Prepared!  It means that there will be limited use of flush restrooms if any and places to get drinking water. Many of our properties have latrines in the camping area. Camps will still be open should a unit want to do some cold weather camping or a planning session in one of the buildings, but plan ahead and communicate with the Ranger of that property you want to use.
