Last Frontier Council COVID-19 update

Dear Scouting supporter and member,

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Last Frontier Council offices will close Saturday, March 21, 2020, until April 6, 2020 for the safety of our staff, visitors and customers. Essential services to support our programs will continue so please do not hesitate to call the council office or your assigned staff member. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations, as well as the direction of Governor Stitt and Mayor Holt.

While many events are canceled or postponed, we encourage you to continue Scouting activities in creative ways. A Scout is Thrifty, and we've seen several units continue Scouting while keeping themselves and those around them safe. From virtual museum tours to online meetings and at-home forensics, our Scouts are continuing to "do a good turn daily". You can find these ideas and more on our Facebook page. As you continue Scouting in creative ways, remember to post your activities on Facebook using #LFCBSA.

If you have any needs for Scouting or see how Scouting can help in the community, reach out via phone or email to your unit leaders, District Executive or other staff members. Please remain safe and let us know how we can serve you during this time. We hope to see each one of you soon!

Sincerely,

Jeff Woolsey
