Scout Day at the OKC Bombing Memorial and MuseumCC BY-SA 3.0,
Postponed. Please be patient as we work to reschedule this event.
Join us on Saturday, March 28, 2020 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing.
The OKC National Memorial and Museum, along with Ma-Nu Lodge, will be hosting a Scouting day, offering museum tours, advancement opportunities, and service projects. Lunch is included. Registration is limited to the first 1200 people. Cost is $20 and includes a commemorative patch. The Ma-Nu trading post will be on site as well with special merchandise for the event.
Scouts and scouters of all ages, units, and councils are invited to participate in this event. Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend as well. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund delegates to the National Order of the Arrow Conference at Michigan State University this summer along with other service projects for the lodge.
The event will run from 9am until 5 pm. Sign up for preferred museum tour times but there will be activities all day. We will do our best to accommodate your tour within the time block specified but ask that you remain flexible.
The Order of the Arrow will conduct a memorial service at the end of the day to honor those affected by the tragedy. We are asking for 168 volunteers (youth will be given priority) dressed in full field uniform to participate.
Come join us for a day of activities and remembrance.
