What is THE EVENT?
THE EVENT is weekend campout that will encourage Boy Scouts and Venturers to use basic Scout skills to complete missions. All Scouts will have the opportunity to use problem solving, decision making, and scout skills such as: Orienteering, 1st Aid, Cooking, Knots and Lashings, and Geocaching. This is the 2nd year for The EVENT and is a still pilot program and each year the theme of the event will change. The EVENT will be all day Saturday, and Sunday Morning until noon.
Who may participate?
Any registered Boy Scout and/or registered Venturers may participate.
What’s the fee?
$25 per participant, $15 per adult non-participant. Cost include T-shirt. Late fee after September 1st is an additional $10. Late registrations also runs the risk of not receiving a T-shirt at camp after September 15th. For shirts over 2 XL there will be an additional charge of $ 2. If you register late and you do not get a shirt you will have to meet with a staff member to pick up your shirt after The EVENT.
