Camp George Thomas

In operation since 1935, Camp George Thomas (CGT) is located at the foot of the Wichita Mountains in Caddo County off State Highway 19. Camp George Thomas accommodates adult and youth training, specialized camping events such as Webelos Woods, Camporees and Order of the Arrow events, Cub Scout resident camp in June, short-term camping for all program levels, and Cub Scout family camping in the fall.

Cub Scout Resident Camp

All Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts can camp during three-night sessions throughout the month of June. Resident Camp is an outstanding opportunity for advancement while having fun and making new friends while camping. Our council's camp consistently receives the highest ratings from the National Boy Scouts of America and is known as one of the best Cub Scout Camps in the nation.

We encourage you and your Pack to make reservations to attend Resident Camp at Camp George Thomas in June of each year.
